1999/2000 Coalition Accomplishments:
  • The Coalition merged with our nonprofit sponsor and as of February, 2000 we are our own 501(c)(3) corporation.
  • The Coalition also worked in collaboration with a number of other progressive and labor organizations to support worker and social justice issues. A few highlights included:
  • We worked with the NAACP, the Anti-Defamation League, the Japanese American Citizens League, PFLAG, and the New Mexico Faith Communities Against Hate Crimes, in support of hate crimes legislation during the legislative session in 1999.
