Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgendered and Allies Together
Constituency The constituency of the Coalition are the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied people in New Mexico. New Mexico is a very diverse state with a population of 46% people of color. The vast majority of state residents are living at or below the poverty level. The Coalition has worked diligently to reflect this constituency in all of our work. For example the current Steering Committee is composed of 27 people, of whom 57% are women, 42% are people of color, 36% are low-income and 29% are young people. back
